How to transpose a matrix in Geogebra
In this lesson I'll explain how to calculate the transpose of a matrix using Geogebra.
What is Transpose of a matrix? It is a matrix with the rows arranged in place of the columns.
Create a matrix.
For example, a 3x3 matrix.
If you don't know how to make a matrix on Geogebra, follow our previous lesson.
Now write the transpose() function.
Type the name of the matrix between the round brackets.
Geogebra calculates and displays the transpose of a matrix.
In the transpose the elements of the first row of the initial matrix are arranged vertically in the first column.
The elements of the second row of the initial matrix are arranged vertically in the second column. Those of the third row in the third column.
